Taking a drive through the scenic Northern Suburbs of Cape Town

Aesthetically, the Northern Suburbs are one of the most beautiful parts of Cape Town. Most areas offer spectacular views of Table Mountain.

The lush greenery, especially after the Cape Winter rains offer a mystical blanket of fertile cover, especially throughout the vineyards of the wine lands which is one of the main landmarks putting this part of the world on the map.

The Durbanville Rose garden is magnificent, boasting a range of fragrant beautiful rose bushes, many which have been named after famous people.

The area offers many opportunities for weekend drives for both locals and out of Towner’s. The roads wind throughout the suburbs giving one the feeling of being in the countryside.

There is no shortage of restaurants to visit, craft and food markets to amble around, as well as some of the largest shopping malls in the southern hemisphere. There is something that will appeal to everyone.

One may travel further out to the world renown areas of Paarl Wellington Worcester Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, all of which are steeped in a rich historical past and which boast many famous wineries.

The Northern Suburbs offer a host of varied accommodation to suit everyone’s pocket. Thus, when visiting the Cape, a trip to the Northern suburbs will add splendour to a relaxing day out or perhaps even longer to enable one to see all that is on offer.
