The V&A Waterfront is an active shopping, dining and entertainment area, next to the Table Bay harbour. It has 450 retail outlets selling everything you can possibly imagine.
The V&A Waterfront can be divided into different shopping areas. One of which is the Victoria Wharf Shopping Center. Here you will find all major retailers and international brands. The second area is the Alfred Mall and Clock Tower Shopping Center, where you will find a variety of art, jewellery and speciality shops. The last area is the Watershed. This area offers visitors a selection of African craft and design shops, with over 365 brands and 150 tenants to choose from. There are also many different kinds of eateries all around the V&A Waterfront, ranging from sit down restaurants, to fast food outlet, to organic and healthy food stands.
The V&A Waterfront also has an amphitheater which hosts live music, dance and theater throughout the year. It is home to 2 museums, namely the Maritime and Chavonnes Battery, and the world-class Two Ocean Aquarium. For the sport fans, the Springbok Experience Rugby Museum enables visitors to experience the history of the Springboks and South African Rugby.
There are also numerous other historic points and tourist attractions all around the V&A Waterfront.
