Bistrot Bizerca is a place that serve down-to-earth food with exceptional skill and great passion. This high standard may be fine dining in terms of the quality of the food, but it always has and remains true to the casual, relaxed bistro-style of eating.
After five successful years in what was arguably one of the toughest locations in the CBD, the Foreshore, in late 2012 Bistrot Bizerca moved to the historic Heritage Square. Situated in the heart of the city, Bistrot Bizerca has settled quickly and comfortably in this home.
The interior of Bizerca has a seating capacity of 50. An additional 50 diners can be accommodated in the brick-paved courtyard which is famous for having the oldest fruit-bearing vine in Southern Africa. The courtyard is perfect place to escape the harsh Cape Town winds and everchanging weather. It is perfect for balmy summer evenings, long lazy lunches, or informal mid-afternoon interludes of oysters and champagne.
With raw brick walls echoing the stony courtyard, the interior and exterior blend seamlessly at Bistrot Bizerca. Subtle recurring butterfly motifs on the walls, menus, and napkins reflect Bistrot Bizerca’s metamorphosis.
